Robinson, Lee named NBA's Players of the Week

Published: February 4, 2013

The Chicago Bulls' Nate Robinson and the Golden State Warriors' David Lee were named the top players for the week in the Eastern and Western Conference, respectively, for the games played between Jan. 28 and Feb. 3.

Robinson averaged 17.8 points, 6.8 assists and 2.5 steals per game while helping the Bulls to a 3-1 record during the week. He has also scored in double figures in 10 straight games for the Bulls.

The Warriors went a perfect 4-0 last week, thanks in large part to Lee, who averaged an impressive 18.0 points, 14.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists over the stretch. His point-rebound double-double in each of Golden State's wins brought his NBA-leading double-double total up to 31 on the season.

Others considered for the award were Brooklyn's Brook Lopez, Denver's Danilo Gallinari, Houston's Omer Asik, Miami's LeBron James and New York's Tyson Chandler.
