In-home danger
It’s great that Rick Martinez has convinced himself that he needs to get a gun, but let’s hope his column (“A forever foray into the world of guns,” Jan. 30) has not persuaded others to do likewise. Statistically, a gun in the house is 12 times more likely to be used on a family member than an intruder.
