Attacking the vulnerable

It is very disheartening to see efforts unveiled by the Republican Party as it moves to block close to 650,000 N.C. residents from obtaining health insurance. Despite the reasons expressed by the lawmakers, this move is mean-spirited and once again attacks those in our state who are the most vulnerable.

How mean-spirited do you have to be to think that it is OK in this civilized society to put forth efforts to keep people from obtaining health insurance ?

Their efforts will be remembered. They will find that these mean, dismissive approaches will come back to them.
