James P. Witeck: Boyle in charge

Boyle in charge

I am writing to commend U.S. District Judge Terrence Boyle on his superb handling of the WakeMed Medicare fraud case.

I believe he asked all the right questions of the defendants in his very appropriate quest to hold WakeMed and its management accountable for their actions.

It seems obvious that deliberate fraud was committed and that this did not occur without the knowledge of, or at the direction of, WakeMed management. It is heartening to me that Boyle will obviously not be satisfied with middle or lower management officials “taking the fall” for WakeMed.
