Listen to Giffords
I was in tears as I watched Gabrielle Giffords speak on gun control.
How many gun attacks will it take before we take some action? Any action? Must we continually listen to paranoid activists that think “their” gun is the one that will repel a terrorist?
Twenty-six dead in Newtown. Can’t this be the impetus to restrict at least some guns? There is room for compromise that still allows gun owners their rights to own guns. But to do nothing is an insult to the deaths of 26 people in Connecticut and to the strength of a severely injured Giffords who stepped up to speak out.
