President Barack Obama will travel to Asheville Wednesday as part of a series of public appearances following Tuesdays State of the Union address, the White House announced Sunday.
Details of the trip will be announced later this week.
The President will travel to three different communities to discuss proposals, unveiled in the speech, that focus on strengthening the economy for the middle class and those striving to get there, a press statement said..
In addition to the Asheville appearance, Obama will visit the Atlanta area on Thursday and the Chicago area on Friday.
