A good cause

Congratulations to our local community for working together in the latest Krispy Kreme Challenge, which raised $177,000 for the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.

The local community’s commitment is assisting those in need with terrific health care. Maybe our local school board and county commissioners are watching and learning on how to work together so that the children of Wake County may be given the best education possible.

All it takes is a little commitment from all involved without the assistance of lobbyists. Thanks Krispy Kreme and all involved.
