RALEIGH — A Harnett County man was sentenced to 114 months in prison earlier this month for his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy that began in January 1999.
Terry Alston, 46, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 280 grams or more of crack cocaine and 5 kilograms of powdered cocaine.
The investigation into Alston is part of a larger investigation into drug trafficking in the Fuquay-Varina area entitled “Operation Freight Train.”
