SELMA — A fire broke out late Wednesday at the Sona BLW Precision Forge plant at 500 Oak Tree Drive, bringing apparatus from four departments, county officials said.
It was not immediately known how much damage the fire did to the plant, whose products include gears used in the automotive industry.
Johnston County emergency dispatchers said the fire was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m., and the last fire units left the scene shortly before 3 a.m.
A Johnston County fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate, they said.
