Margaret Stewart Gibson and Cameron Andrews Arnett were united in marriage on November 10, 2012, at 5 o’clock in the evening at Lakeside Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, N.C. Dr. Jody Chapman Wright officiated. A reception followed the ceremony at Bellamy Mill, home of the bride’s parents. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Rose Hill Plantation.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stewart Gibson of Rocky Mount. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Austin Robbins of Rocky Mount and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward McLaurin Gibson of Laurinburg, N.C.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Wayne Arnett of Raleigh. He is the grandson of Mrs. Edwin Ware Robinson of New Bern and the late Mr. Robinson, and Mrs. Arthur Arnett, Jr. of Fayetteville and the late Mr. Arnett.

The bride was escorted by her father. Lindsay Alexander Strickland of Raleigh served as her matron of honor. The bride is a graduate of Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing her Masters of Nursing at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She was presented by the Terpsichorean Club at the 2004 North Carolina Debutante Ball in Raleigh.

The groom is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Woodberry Forest, VA. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from North Carolina State University. He is an Account Manager with Clear Channel Media + Entertainment in Washington, D.C.

The couple resides in Washington, D.C.
