The Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy released its annual report, The Small Business Profile for States and Territories, on each state’s small businesses on Thursday. Here’s what it found:

79.1% North Carolina small businesses that had no employees in 2010.

1.5 million North Carolina workers were employed by small businesses in 2010.

55 million workers nationally were employed by small businesses in 2010.

1.6% The increase in national private-sector employment in 2011.
