Rev. William “W.A.” Crawford, 82, died Monday, February 18, 2013.

The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Rev. Crawford, a native of Wayne County, formerly of Williamston, was a resident of Raleigh. He attended Southwestern Bible College in Oklahoma City, OK and Holmes Bible College in Greenville, SC. For 63 years he was a minister in the NC Conference International Pentecostal Holiness Church. He had been a pastor in 10 different churches over his ministry. He was also a licensed general contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janice Lewis Crawford; daughters, Judith Crawford Nicholson and husband, Ben, of Raleigh, NC and Jandra Crawford Dillon and husband, Keith, of Thomasville, NC; son, William “Alan” Crawford and wife, Pam, of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Matthew and Jenna Nicholson, Adam Crawford, Mark Crawford and wife, Nina, and Janison and Jonathan Dillon; great-grandson, Marcus Crawford; and sisters, Grace Daniels, of Rocky Mt., Myrtle Watson, of Wilson, and Mary Lois Stroud, of Raleigh.
