Jane Jordan Bair died November 12, 2012, at Duke Regional Hospital, Durham, NC after a long illness. Jane was the daughter of George and Beulah Jordan of Clarksburg, PA. Jane was born on April 30, 1932 in Kenton, OH but lived most of her life in the Saltsburg, PA, Durham, NC area.

She was best known in Saltsburg, for her work in the Methodist church, and as the warm friendly owner/operator of the Teepee Restaurant for over 14 years. Jane never met a stranger, and had lifelong friends from every part of the world.

Moving to Raleigh in 1980, she was active in Soapstone Methodist church for many years, and worked as a travel agent in Durham until retiring in 1996.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rex J. Bair, and Daughter Nancy L. Breslin. She left behind her husband of 62 years, Joseph Bair, a son Bruce L. Bair, and a daughter Teri Jo Grdgon, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
