Joseph Bennette Proctor, 93, passed away at his home on February 18, 2013. Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Rose Marie Weaver Proctor.

He is survived by his children, Mary Joe Karner, James Proctor, and Liz Proctor; his grandson, KC Karner, his grandson, Kevin Karner and Kevin’s wife, Sara; and his great-grandson, Pierce Bennette Karner.

A visitation will be held at Oakdale Baptist Church in Rocky Mount on Friday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
