Raleigh man charged in 13-car string of Wake Forest break-ins

WAKE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

— A 21-year-old man was being held on a $220,000 bond Thursday after being charged with breaking in to 14 cars in Wake Forest one night last August and stealing items from seven.

In arrest warrants, Wake Forest police accuse Dequan Durrell Britton-Stewart of 724 Fitzgerald Drive in Raleigh of the 14 felonies and seven misdemeanors and say it all happened the night of Aug. 6-7.

Police found Britton-Stewart at his home Wednesday afternoon, according to an arrest report.
