– Vera W. Haskins, 93, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, died peacefully at home on February 17th, 2013. Mrs. Haskins was a registered nurse who worked in private duty care of the elderly in West Hartford, Connecticut and in the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company clinic. She is a graduate of Morrison High School and Elizabeth Buxton Hospital School of Nursing in Newport News, Virginia.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday at Zebulon United Methodist Church.

Surviving: daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Jackie Williams of Knightdale; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Kelly Haskins of Lumberton, Joel and Lisa Haskins of Columbia, South Carolina; grandchildren, Austin and Lindsey Williams, Morgan and Connor Haskins and Robert and Hayley Haskins.

The family will receive friends Saturday 7 – 8:30 Pm at Massey Funeral Home, Zebulon.
