Joseph Edward Atwater, Jr. was born November 26, 1956 to the late Joseph E. Atwater, Sr. and Clarice D. Atwater. He was called home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2013 at Wake Medical Center Raleigh.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father Joseph E. Atwater, Sr. He leaves to mourn, his mother, Clarice D. Atwater of Apex; brother, Harold E. Daniel (Phyllis) of Raleigh; uncles, Bruce Daniel and Johnnie Daniel of Apex; nephews, Anthony Daniel and Adrian Daniel of Apex; niece, Elisabeth Daniel, Arlington, VA and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Church, Cary, NC, visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m.
