Three charged in Triangle ecstasy trafficking case

— Three Triangle area residents were charged Friday with trafficking drugs MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, sales, according to arrest reports.

David Julian Gantt, 24, of 2704 Laurel Cherry St., is charged with three counts of trafficking in MDMA as well as conspiracy to traffic MDMA and maintaining a vehicle for the distribution of a controlled substance.

His bail is set at $200,000.

Two others are charged with being accomplices to Gantt.

Bethany Kristine Phillips, 22, of 2029 Macon Ridge in Raleigh is charged with three counts of trafficking MDMA and conspiracy to traffic MDMA.

Her bail is set at $100,000.

Jamison Matthew Stanley, 24, of 434 Plantation Pine Circle in Garner, is charged with two counts of trafficking MDMA and one count of conspiracy to traffic MDMA, according to arrest reports.

Stanley is also charged with maintaining a dwelling place for the manufacture or distribution of a controlled substance and possession with intent to sell or distribute for 19 grams of marijuana found in his possession at the time of his arrest.

His bail is set at $100,000.
