Jimmy Lee King, passed away peacefully, surrounded by all who loved him deeply including his wife, Deborah Jones King, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at U.N.C. Lineberger Cancer Hospital in Chapel Hill. He touched our lives and our souls, and his presence in our life is a gift for which we will always be thankful.

The memorial service for Jimmy King will be Friday, February 22, 2013, at 6:00pm at St. Matthew AME, 1629 Bennett Street, Raleigh, NC 27604. The funeral is Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00am at Wallace-Rose Hill Fine Arts Center. 602 High School Road, Teachey, NC 26464.
