Curtis Leigh Underwood, 77, of Rolesville, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his home. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Lowell and Daphna Underwood and was a retired banker. Curtis was a member of Rolesville Baptist Church, Rolesville Lions Club and the Raleigh Moose Lodge #1318.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2013 at Rolesville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Jean Underwood; son, Michael Underwood of Rolesville; daughter, Debbie Williams of Rolesville; sister, Cora Hodge and husband, Frank, of Rolesville; stepdaughters, Faye Barnes and husband, Bobby, of Georgia, and Susan Fulghum and husband, Mark, of Bailey; grandchildren, Jennifer Underwood, Michael J. Williams and Dustin Williams, all of Rolesville; stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Fulghum and Nicholas Fulghum of Bailey; several great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Carolyn Bailey.
