Five St. Louis players drove in a pair of runs as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Houston Astros, 10-2, in spring training action.
Matt Holliday, Allen Craig, and Pete Kozma each homered while finishing with two RBI in the Cardinals' first win after opening the spring with a pair of losses. David Freese and Shane Robinson also knocked in a pair of runners.
Starter Adam Wainwright fanned three in 2 2/3 scoreless innings for St. Louis.
Chris Wallace drove in a run for Houston after being hit by a pitch in the seventh inning, while Nate Freiman scored off a groundout by George Springer for the Astros' other tally.
Houston starter Philip Humber allowed one run on two hits and walked three over two innings.
