Ernest “Ernie” Kent Gross, age 55, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home.

He was a native of Oklahoma and the son of Evelyn Rosenberg Gross-Brein and the late Leonard Gross.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda McCullough Gross; three daughters, Jennifer McGee, Janessa Lyle and Heather Gross; three grandchildren, Kaleb Lyle, Julian McGee and Hannah Lyle; and two sisters, Gayle De Nunez and Sally Herring.

The family will receive friends at the residence immediately following the memorial service.
