Irvin Martin Junior Linton

Irvin Martin Junior Linton, Jr, 69, died Sunday at Rex Hospital. He was born in South Mills, NC and was the son of Irvin and Hazel Linton. He was retired from Crossmark as a team leader of data collection agents in the Raleigh market and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an outstanding individual who was loved by many with a heart of gold going out of his way to help anyone in need.

Irvin was preceded in death by his brother David Sawyer.

Surviving are his sisters, Marie Hanson and Linda Ridder; his brother, Floyd Sawyer; his children, Irvin Martin Linton, II, Kimberly Linton Goss, Cynthia Lynn Linton, Sharon Lorraine Linton, Margaret Linton, John Henry Lane, III, Tracey Ann Linton and Alyssia Megan Linton;his grandchildren, Jessie, Jacob, Luke, Karli, Tylor and Gabriel; great-granddaughter, Olivia.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11am on Friday, 3/1/13 at Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints, Apex, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
