David Marc Corey, 58 of Prospect Hill, NC went to be with the Lord at his residence Monday, February 25, 2013. He was born August 15, 1954 in Suffern, NY to the late Arthur Cornelius Corey, Sr. and the late Grace Bekker Corey. Mr. Corey life partner of eighteen wonderful years was David Isom. He was a member of Carr United Methodist Church. Mr. Corey worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a postal clerk.

In addition to his life partner he is survived by two daughters; Alison Beth Corey of Glenwood, NJ and Becky Lynn C. Thompson of Monroe, NY: two sisters; Mary Jane Messenger of East Strasburg, PA and Jo Ann R. Denice of Dunnellon, FL: two brothers; Arthur C. Corey, Jr. of Houston, TX and Drew W. Corey of Wilton Maners, FL; two grandchildren, Emily Thompson and Brielle Hammond.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Carr United Methodist Church, 8200 NC Hwy 49, Cedar Grove, NC 27231 with the Rev. Ronnie Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Danville VA.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2013 at Norris Funeral Services, Inc, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA, 24541 and other times at the residence.
