Yvonne Stelly Creech

February 27, 2013

It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and friend on Tuesday the 26th of February, 2013. Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband William Henry (Pee Wee) Creech, Jr. and son baby boy William Ronnie Creech. Yvonne will be missed greatly by her daughter and son-in-law Dianne and Doug Fish, twin granddaughters, Caitlin and Madeleine Fish, daughter-in-law Mozelle Creech, grandson and wife Louis and Heather Clarke, great grandchildren, Hannah and Clara Clarke, Kristine Righter, Carrie Barbour, and grandson Scott Creech.

Yvonne was the daughter of the late Howard and Ann Stelly of Goldsboro. She is survived by her brother and his wife Bobby and Grace Stelly of Norfolk, VA.

Yvonne enjoyed her work at Austin Food Company and went to work everyday with a smile on her face. After retiring she traveled with Pee Wee to Kerr Lake and Florida for many years. She enjoyed eating the fish that he caught each summer. She was happiest spending time with her family at home or at the lake. One of her greatest joys was spending the night and talking with her twin granddaughters Caitlin and Madeleine. They will miss her greatly.

Mom will always be remembered as a determined woman with a positive attitude and a smile.

A funeral service in memory of Yvonne will be held at 11:00 on Friday, March 1st, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
