Francis Ennis Massey, 67, died Monday. He was a native of Nash County. He served in the Marines, in the Vietnam War. He worked for and was an owner of several Flowers Bakery Company franchises. He was a loving patriarch who will always be remembered.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. T. Massey, granddaughter, Caroline Connolly, & brother, Dale.
Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Union Hope Baptist Church, burial, church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Massey of the home; children, Jaime Connolly (Mike) of Zebulon, Jenny Carter of Middlesex, Shawn Sager (Alan) of TN; mother, Virginia Alford Massey; siblings, Lee Massey of Oxford, and Susan Thomason (Tim) of Wendell; grandchildren, Apryl Moore (Kevin), Toni Carter, Adam Carter (Carrie), Kyle Price, Shane Price, Jamy & Cameron Traylor, Peyton & Will Connolly; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, & Anna Moore.
