Geneva Dawn Ward, 20, of 6604 Sadie Drive passed away on February 20, 2013 at Wake Med surrounded by her family. Geneva was born in Newport News, Va. on November 9, 1992 to Cindy Smith Price and the late John Sumner Ward. She was a shift leader for Hardee’s in Wake Forest.

Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Bethany Baptist Church, 3417 Rolesville Road, Wendell, NC 27591.

The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.

Surviving: daughter, Kimberly Sumner Beddingfield of Spartanburg, SC; mother, Cindy Smith Price (Jeffrey) of Wendell; brother; John William Ward of Wendell; half-sisters, Angela and Wendy; grandparents, David and Bertelle Smith of Wendell; great-gandmother, Gloria Smith of Emporia, VA.
