Nandor Paul Kozma, 73, of Hubert, died February 26, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

He was born July 14, 1939 in Beaufort, S.C., the son of the late Nandor and Christine Kozma. Paul graduated from Swansboro High School and North Carolina State University.

Paul, or “Skipper” to family, was an accomplished athlete, artist and sportsman.

He is predeceased in death by his parents and his wife, Janet Cochrane Kozma.

He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Kozma Proctor and husband, Randy, of Raleigh; a son, Nandor Richard Kozma and Samantha Hunt, of the home; brother, R.S. Kozma and wife, Lorrie, of Swansboro; sister, Phylliss Kozma Clayton and husband, Edgar, of Houston, Texas. Paul is also survived by three grandchildren, Erika Hunt, Dylan Kozma and Grace Proctor.

A private graveside service will be held at noon, Friday, March 1 at Seaside Memorial Park, Swansboro. Family and friends will be received Sunday, March 3, in the home of Jessica and Randy Proctor, 317 Calvin Road, from five until seven.
