Postal politics

I think the writer of the Feb. 16 letter “Postage paid” is letting her politics interfere with her reasoning. The problems with the post office predate the Obama presidency and should be laid squarely at the foot of Congress, both parties. If Congress would cut all ties with the US Postal Service and make it totally independent, then and only then will it become a success.
