Foot in mouth again

Two interesting items about Gov. Pat McCrory in the Feb. 25 N&O: “McCrory OKs ‘pink licenses’ ”: He thinks that pink-striped driver’s licenses for DACA participants are “a very sound resolution” to help distinguish “between legal presence versus legal status.” An even more easy way to identify DACA participants and all other undocumented immigrants would be to have them wear yellow stars on their sleeves.

In “Under the Dome”: Regarding the tone of the Republican Party: “I think sometimes we come across as too negative. I think sometimes we come across as too strident.” What part of Bobby Jindal’s “We’ve got to stop being the stupid party” does our governor not understand?
