Christopher Donnald of Cary has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
For his Eagle project, Chris led a group of Scouts and adults in mapping the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery in Apex. Information from the headstones was photographed and recorded and the images and data were uploaded to the website Names in Stone to help family and community members locate their loved ones in the cemetery.
Chris, the son of Edward and Katherine Donnald, is a senior at Northwood High School in Pittsboro and a member of Troop 216.
