Fast foresight
With the demise of the newspaper, I’m considering going back to college to update my journalism degree.
The governor’s and General Assembly’s fixing of UNC’s curriculum should result in courses that would make me better suited to today’s modern workforce.
I’m especially interested in taking a major in fast food prep. I hope I can test out of the burger flipping requirement, but I know I can learn something about cooking french fries. And wrapping a burrito is a skill that would carry over into my personal life, with a minor in greeting.
Perhaps I would be better served, however, to wait a couple of years, when I could study for a career in a higher-paying technical field like fracking cleanup.
