Warren Randolph “Randy” Ellis, age 62, passed from death to life Friday morning surrounded by his family. Born December 15, 1950 in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Theo Randolph and Liddie “Geneva” Adams Ellis. Mr. Ellis was very active in many organizations. He was a past member of the Lion’s Club, held many positions at the Cardinal Country Club from President to Treasurer, was the Junior Governor at the Smithfield Moose Lodge, and was a past President of the Neuse Adjuster Association.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Garner Church of God with Pastor J. Dan Hudson officiating.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Ellis of Smithfield; daughter, Christina Land and husband Jeremy of Selma; sister, Dorothy LaRue Sobon of Auburn Hills, MI; and grandchildren, Nathan and Micaiah Land.
