Hazel Woodlief Keith, 85, of Wake Forest, passed away Saturday March 2, 2013 at Rex Hospital. She was born in Wake County and was a life long member of Glen Royal Baptist Church. Mrs. Keith was the retired Manager of Combined Records with the North Carolina Department of Correction after 46 years of service and worked a short time with the War Department during WWII as a Stenographer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon, March 6, 2013 at Glen Royal Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

Mrs. Keith is survived by her sons, Robert G. “Joe” Keith, Sr. of Wake Forest and Richard LeBaron Keith & wife Beverly of Youngsville; grandchildren, Kim Keith of Wake Forest and Bob Keith of Holly Ridge; great-grandchildren, Zach Langenberg and Peyton Bucher both of Wake Forest; brother, Macon Woodlief and wife Sylvia of South Carolina and life long friends, Barbara & Dick Cooke of Knightdale

She was preceded in death by her aunt who raised her, Lillie Horton and husband of 46 years, Robert Richard Keith.
