Alice Wilkerson Hamilton, 94, joined her Heavenly Father early Sunday morning March 3rd, 2013.

Born in Person County, September 27, 1918, she attended The Gospel Center and Northgate Chapel. She retired from Liggett Myers after 37 years.

Survived by her daughters, Doris Jean Beasley Kaplan (Edward) of Annapolis, MD and Connie Beasley Cone (Dan) of Durham; sister, Jennie Davis of Durham; and brother, W.T Wilkerson of Newton Grove, NC. Grandchildren, Kathy Kaplan Murray (John), Megan Kaplan Hendrick (Keith) all of Annapolis; Lenora Cone Murphy (Greg) and Loren Cone (Christina) of Durham; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Mark Kaplan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Clements prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. and other times at the home of her daughter, Connie Cone.
