WAKE FOREST — Police have charged a Wake Forest woman with murder in connection with the stabbing death of her live-in boyfriend Wednesday night.
Dorian Kwame Cunningham, 23, was found stabbed at an apartment in the Glen Royall Mill Apartment complex at 876 N. Main St. He later died at WakeMed in Raleigh.
Police have charged Krystal Terin Delgado, of 876 N. Main St. Apt. 218, with murder. She was held without bond awaiting her first court appearance Friday.
The initial call was for EMS personnel to help the victim of what they were told was an accidental stabbing, Wake Forest spokesman Bill Crabtree said. Police were then sent to the building, where they decided the situation was suspicious enough to warrant an investigation, Crabtree said.
The police investigation yielded enough information to arrest Delgado but it is unclear why at this time.
