Recap: Iowa vs. Nebraska

Aaron White finished with 19 points and six rebounds to lift the Iowa Hawkeyes to a 74-60 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big Ten clash at Carver Hawkeye Arena.

Adam Woodbury shot a perfect 6-of-6 from the field en route to 12 points for Iowa (20-11, 9-9 Big Ten), which has won three of its last four games. Melsahn Basabe added a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Ray Gallegos netted a game-high 22 points for Nebraska (14-17, 5-13) while Dylan Talley chipped in 11 points.

Iowa led 10-1 before the first media timeout and never trailed after shooting 44.4 percent from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the first half. They led 32-23 at intermission.

The Hawkeyes shot 72.7 percent from the floor in the second half. White, Basabe and Anthony Clemmons all shot 3-of-3 from the field.

Iowa outrebounded Nebraska, 39-22.
