Los Angeles Clippers forward Caron Butler is expected to be out a week with a left elbow strain, the team announced on Monday.

Butler injured his elbow in the third quarter of Sunday's 129-97 win over the Detroit Pistons. An MRI exam on Monday revealed no structural damage.

Over 62 games this season, Butler is averaging 10.3 points and 2.9 rebounds.
