Recap: Miami vs. Boston

Christian Yelich hit a two-run home run off Chris Carpenter in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Miami Marlins to an 8-7 win over the Boston Red Sox in spring training action.

Kevin Kouzamanoff drove in three runs while Chris Valaika and Matt Downs had an RBI apiece for the Marlins. Kevin Slowey allowed three runs and fanned five over three innings in the win.

Mike Carp and Jackie Bradley had solo homers and Will Middlebrooks hit a two- run shot for the Red Sox. Jarrod Saltalamacchia drove in two runs in the loss.

Jon Lester started for Boston, allowing just one run on three hits over five innings. However, reliever Rubby De La Rosa struggled, walking four and surrendering five runs in just 2/3 innings.
