GOP economics

The anti-fracking naysayers are missing the point completely. After the obvious short-term energy boon, the Republican legislature is clearly setting the stage for the follow-up economic benefits: creating a large and continuing market for bottled drinking water, home water filtration systems and probably long-term cancer care.

So let’s not needlessly accuse the legislature of being shortsighted.
