MORRISVILLE — An accident involving at least two cars closed two eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Interstate 540 during the rainy morning commute Tuesday.

There were no serious injuries reported in the crash, which happened about 7:30 and closed the two left lanes of the road between Interstate 540 and Airport Boulevard.
