ID the rich too
I’d like to put Republicans to this test to determine whether their insistence on photo IDs at the polls is purely an effort to keep some of us from voting. Since one’s appearance – weight, hair color, facelift, hair implants – can change so drastically as to make an old photo worthless for purposes of identification, why not require any ID used as voter identification to be less than four years old?
I assure you, when it’s elderly white Republican men being inconvenienced, instead of elderly black women, the popularity of this photo ID requirement will fade very quickly in the General Assembly.
In fact, let’s require the plastic surgery bunch to get new photo IDs within a year of the surgery. Wouldn’t want any Botox-based fraud to take place, now would we?
