In response to the letter-writer who compared the 2,600 MetLife jobs coming to Cary and Charlotte as “two fresh batches of Yankees”: If it weren’t for all of those fresh batches of Yankees over the past 40 years, the writer and others with his mindset might still be out in the backwoods brewing batches of moonshine while fighting off batches of revenuers.
