Recap: NY Yankees vs. Miami

CC Sabathia pitched five innings in his spring debut and the New York Yankees got homers from Travis Hafner and Francisco Cervelli in a 7-3 win over the Miami Marlins.

Sabathia, who had surgery in the offseason to take out a bone spur from his left elbow, allowed eight hits and a pair of runs in five innings. He gave up both his runs in the first.

Cervelli smacked a solo homer in the second inning and Hafner belted a two-run shot in the third.

John Maine gave up three hits and as many runs over three frames for the Marlins.

Nick Green and Gorkys Hernandez had three hits each for Miami.
