Raleigh teen Katherine Medina found a tiara to wear while looking over donated prom dresses Friday, March 15, 2013 at Peak United Methodist Church on N. Salem St., Apex, NC. The fifth annual Prom Shoppe, organized by Apex UMC and other faith communities in the area had approximately one thousand three hundred (1,300) donated prom dresses, along with shoes, jewelry and related items to give away to any area girls for free that could come shop for that ONE dress for her prom.
