Sonja Campen Collins, 74, passed away Thursday. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Brookes and Ruth Leavister Campen and was a 1956 graduate of Broughton High School.

A Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Montlawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include her daughters, Jane R. Holmes and husband, Jr. Holmes of Raleigh and Kim Ennis of Garner; son, Jon Scott Ray of Raleigh; sisters, Margaret Poole and Judy Stephenson of Raleigh; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bette Lassiter and brothers, Thomas Campen, Howard Brookes Campen and Robert O. Campen.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner and at other times at the home of Jr. and Jane Holmes, 9408 Middlebury Lane, Raleigh, NC.
