RALEIGH — Three people were injured during what appears to have been a fight in a parking lot on South Saunders Street in downtown Raleigh early Saturday, according to police.
Two people were transported to WakeMed for non-life threatening injuries and one drove himself to Duke Hospital in Raleigh for treatment, said Lt. T.A. Frattini, with the Raleigh Police Department.
The incident happened at 2626 S. Saunders St. between 1:50 and 2:05 a.m. Saturday. The parking lot is shared with Skyline Bar & Billiards and several other businesses.
According to the reporting officer, there appears to have been a stabbing, but Frattini said it was too early to tell if that was in fact what occurred. Police are still collecting statements and investigating, she said.
No charges have yet been filed, Frattini said.
