Rene Garcia's go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning helped the Houston Astros to a 4-2 win over the Washington Nationals in Saturday's spring training action.
Trevor Crowe had three hits and a run scored for Houston, which got four innings of shutout ball from starter Lucas Harrell.
Stephen Strasburg struck out eight and surrendered a run on five hits and a walk over 5 1/3 innings for the Nationals, who got two hits and a run scored from Denard Span.
