Objective, alternative view

Barry Saunders’ comments on Al Jazeera (“Al Jazeera: Not just for Taliban” March 11) reminded me how much I love being able to follow news stories in England through the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera.

Frequently, the Al Jazeera coverage is both more objective and more complete, including stories on American politics. Why are we so skittish about another point of view? It seems that we might want to know what other folks think when we keep getting involved in their lives.
