Margaret Pooler Peebles was born in Wake County to the late James O. Pooler and Endiana Pooler Massenburg on January 15, 1930. She departed this life on March 13, 2013.

Memories will remain in the hearts of those who survive her; sons Howard Peebles Jr. (Carolyn), Darryl P. Peebles Sr. (Debra Ann), and Jerry V. Peebles all of Raleigh; daughter-in-law, Willa M. Robinson of Petersburg, VA; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grand children; and one great-great grandchild; brother-in-laws, Nelson Peebles, Sr. (Elizabeth) and Ervin Peebles Sr.; sister-in-law Amelia P. Peebles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday at Wilson Temple United Methodist Church. Visitation will precede 12:30-1:00 p.m.
